Becoming Socialist?

I'm half way through watching Michael Moore's movie Sicko and I have to admit it has riled up many thoughts and opinions.  First off, I'm a registered Republican, (who knows what that means exactly) .  However, here of late I'm starting to think I'm giving up having a "political party".  I've come to find out that there are issues on both sides of the aisle as they say, that I can't get behind.  I'm really needing to research this health care issue more deeply.  Having 4 children of my own and being self employed...this health care issue has hit home big time.  We pay roughly $430 a month for our health insurance, which doesn't sound to bad until you add in the part about a $3000.00 family deductible and a $1000.00 per person deductible.  Not to mention our poor prescription coverages, dental, etc.
